To be eligible for 4K, a child must be 4 years old on or before September 1st of the starting school year. The 4K program is designed to be a one-year program preceding 5K entrance.

4K Enrollment is NOW OPEN for the 2025 - 2026 school year!
To ensure consideration of your top two 4K program preferences, please submit your 4K application by February 28, 2025.
Notifications of AM or PM placement will be communicated in late May.

4K Open House:
- Thursday, April 10th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM at Oconto Falls Elementary School.
"Diving into 4K" Summer School:
- July 28 - July 31, 2025, 8:00 to 10:00 AM at Oconto Falls Elementary School. This program is designed to help students become familiar with the school enviorment. Summer School registration opens, April 14th, online.

The Oconto Falls board of education has sustained their Four Year Old Kindergarten Program for more than three decades. Recently through a collaborative effort with Oconto County, a variety of community stakeholders, and numerous investors the school district has created a satellite program at the newly established Encompass Child Care in Oconto Falls. Wrap around care for Oconto Falls elementary 4K students and St. Anthony’s 4K students is available at the Encompass site. Abrams Elementary offers wrap around care for 4K students at their building, known as Kid Station. Encompass also has established a collaborative relationship with federally funded Head Start of Oconto County and is offering programing for qualifying 3 year old's.
In the Oconto Falls School District we believe that Four Year Old Kindergarten is one of the first steps in our Path to Excellence!
