The mission of the Oconto Falls School District is to provide safe, efficient and professional transportation service for our students.
The district provides regular education transportation only to students who reside in the Oconto Falls School District. Students living outside the school district boundaries must be transported by their parents/guardians, to a location along an established bus route.
While establishing bus routes, close attention is given to the safety of our children.
The size of the district and the miles driven each day does not permit us to go down every road or stop in front of every child’s residence. All bus routes are scheduled for specific times when picking up or dropping off a student. Students should be at their bus stops 5 minutes before the bus arrives. Bus routes may vary throughout the year because of new students enrolling in school and students moving.

Two-Mile Radius
Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, due to shortage of bus drivers, Oconto Falls School District needed to reduce the number of bus routes. OFPS will only be offering busing services to students who live outside the two-mile radius of County I south of Oconto Falls High School and north of Oconto Falls Elementary School. This change does not impact Abrams Elementary School, as a two-mile radius change would not reduce the routes in that location. View the two-mile radius map below.
